The Telugu Desam Party has alleged that roots of any corruption case in the State were in Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy family. The booty was in the names of benamis of YSR family, the party alleged.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, TDP State general secretary Varla Ramaiah said that the TDP would meet the CBI joint director with all evidences to prove that YSR family had plundered the State. The benamis of YSR family were living in grip of fear after death of Veerabhadra Reddy. He (Veerabhadra Reddy) did not commit suicide, and was murdered. The signatures in the suicide note and driving license did not tally, he alleged.
The TDP would also meet the DGP to urge him to initiate inquiry into money laundering by YSR family members, including son-in-law Anil Kumar, who was taking shelter under the religion to hush up his illegal activities, he added.
