BalakrishnaActor Balakrishna a TDP leader and is very clear about his role in TDP and has ruled out differences with the party president Chandrababu Naidu and vowed to strive to bring the veteran Naidu back to power by 2014.

He has made it clear that Chandra Babu Naidu was the supremo of the TDP and there were no second power center in the TDP, particularly that he has the Nandamuri family is not leading any power group in the party. Be it CBN’s son Nara Lokesh or any other senior leader of sons of NTR ,( indicating about Harikrishna and NTR junior ) all have to work hard in the party under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu, he asserts

Responding to media reports that there were three power centers in the party and aspirants of MLC tickets were being made to please Bala Krishna and Lokesh also, apart from Chandrababu the actor clarified at Gudivada recently that he was not promoting any power center.

Balakrishna’s assertion comes at a time TDP president was struggling rebuild the party’s vote bank in both rural and urban Andhra Pradesh through his padayatra and interaction with all sections of voters . Chandrababu Naidu is not only an iconic leader of TDP but also of entire Andhra Pradesh . The actor has thrown his complete weight behind TDP and leadership of Chandrababu Naidu as the only savior of Andhra Pradesh from corrupt rule of congress.

Chandrababu is only a marathon padayatra since October to revive people’s confidence in the party leadership and win back all the lost ground among BC’s and SC/ST which had given the edge to congress. But for the division caused by Praja Rajyam, TDP would have been in power in 2009 ‘ he had asserted at the press meet.
