Budget discussed only during TDP regime till 2004The budget session of the State Legislative Assembly will be held in two spells on the lines.

In a departure from its tradition but on line with budget session of Parliament. His session will commence on March 11. Budget will be presented in the first spell and hold sittings till end of March says the Finance Minister A Ramanarayana Reddy.

The exercise is both the outwit the T agitators and also the threat of toppling the Kiran Govt by the Jagan brigade in the budget session.

For the first time, the government has constituted standing committees with legislators from both Houses to review the3 review the budgetary allocations subject-wise and after incorporating changes, it will be passed around May 15 tentatively, the Minister said.

Ahead of the exercise the Government will take vote on account to meet the statutory funding requirement for government running and programs .Full budget is passed later on.
