No Shops, cinema and hotels after 4 PM, Police

Following Intelligence agency reports on further terror attacks at Begum Bazar, Nampalli, Abids, Koti and Ameerpet on the eve of Shivarathri , city police have directed closure of business activity from 4 PM in the evening.

The Hyderabad police have advised closure of shops in these areas as was done on Wednesday as part of the security measures when all the shops, restaurants and other business establishments had been closed after 4 pm.

However, DGP Dinesh Reddy requested the people not to be panic saying that elaborate security arrangements have made across the twin cities to ensure safety. Police pickets have been posted at all the sensitive locations.
